Dear African Dance & Music Community,

This weekend The Brazilian cultural Center of New England is hosting dance
and drum classes with
NYC-based dancer and performer, *Mario Axe*
and master drummer, *Meia Noite*, percussionist for Sergio Mendes.

*Dance Workshops with Mario Axe at The Dance Complex:*

Samba, 1:30-3:30pm, Saturday, September 13th

Afro-Brazilian, 1:30-3:30pm, Sunday, September 14th

On Saturday Mario will teach his unique style of Samba and on Sunday he will
teach Afro-Brazilian traditional dances (axe and candomble orixa movements).
Arrive early, space is limited. Classes are $25 per class or $45 for 2

Drum Workshop with Meia Noite at Third Life Studio:*

Percussion: diverse rhythms, 11:00am - 1:00pm, Sunday, September 14th

Bring your own drum. Arrive early, space is limited. Class are $25 per class
or $45 for 2 (1 drum, 1 dance). 617.388.8403 for more information. Third
Life Studio is located at 33 Union Square (Somerville Ave), Union Sq,
Somerville.
