Hello All -
I don't normally post things that are not specifically dance related to this
list. However, for those of you dancers and drummers looking for a way to
spend an extended period of time in Mali, this may be a great opportunity
for you. This is from an American music producer and school administrator

"Come teach in Bamako Mali !!!! English speaking elementary school is
looking for an enthusiastic, certified teacher for the upcoming school
year. Non certified people with experience and degree may also apply.  Small
classes and lots of time to drum and dance in one of the most culturally
interesting places in the world. Your beginning salary would be around $1200
but there is room for growth. We will provide a room in a house with nice
garden and swimming pool. I have lived here for four years and I can tell
you that the people involved in this project are very nice. Looking for an
adventure in West Africa ? Send me your resume. Mali is politically very
stable and the people are wonderful."
