World-renowned percussionist, Lamine Toure, brings sabar, the vibrant 
drum and dance traditions of Senegal, to Springstep's Hawkins Hall. 
Toure is the founder of Boston's hottest new Afro-Pop band, Group 
Saloum, and co-director of the traditional drum and dance ensemble, 
Rambax MIT at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The groups 
will perform for an exhilarating evening of Senegalese rhythms fused 
with elements of jazz, funk, reggae, and Afrobeat.
