Hello all -
This is a quick update with lots of information. enjoy and see you soon!

1. We're working on a site re-design so that information is more
streamlined and easier to understand and so that the site is generally
more useful. You can see this mostly on the "Ongoing Classes" page at
http://wadabo.com/_wsn/classes.html
This is a work in progress, and we know there are some glitches, so
feedback is encouraged and welcome - please send it to
wadabo at gmail.com

2. BeOne Studio is open! Ablou is teaching there Monday at 7.30 pm.
Please come out and support him until Joh comes back from Mali. for
directions, etc, please go to http://be-at-1.com/directions.htm

3. RI Conference - Brown University is hosting it's Bi-Annual
Conference "Africanist Weekend" on February 10, 11, and 12.
Full schedule is at http://wadabo.com/_wsn/workshops.html and at
http://wadabo.com/_wsn/performances.html
Expect 3 days of wonderful workshops and performances!

4. February WADaBo Workshops. We've got 2 amazing artists coming in February.
Starting now, most WADaBo workshops will be held at BeOne Studios in
Dudley Square.

February 19 - Aly Camara (Guinea), 1:30 - 3:30 pm
Aly teaches traditional Guinean dance. He is a favorite here in
Boston. His classes are appropriate for both beginners and
intermediate/advanced dancers (and if we can get enough interest, we
may be able to hold classes specifically for both levels).

February 26 - Lacina Coulibaly (Burkina Faso), 1:30 - 3 pm
Lacina teaches contemporary/modern dance that is rooted in african
traditions. his classes are appropriate for both modern dancers and
african dancers.

look for the March WADaBo schedule soon on the website.

peace.
